If you have always wanted to learn how to dance in a casual, friendly environment, come to the American Legion on Wednesday! The lessons are strictly for beginners! Helmut's main concern is to get you started with ballroom dancing by showing you how easy and how much fun it is! Singles are welcome. During the lessons Helmut encourages that students change partners in order to learn how to lead and follow different dancers. Thus, by the end of the lesson you will have met and danced with many of the other dancers.

Summary

Every Wednesday Helmut Licht presents 'Ballroom Dancing at the Parkville American Legion'.

Live and recorded music from 6:30 - 9:30.

Helmut teaches a beginners dance lesson (ever week a different dance) from 7:00 - 7:30.

Dance to Helmut's Big Band on the first Wednesday of the month.

Learn the Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing (East Coast & West Coast), Chacha, Rumba, Tango, Salsa (Mambo), Merengue, Samba, Disco and Polka.

Dress is casual!!
